This week we lost sweet Fallon, who was a Tripawds and I was treating for osteosarcoma since last fall. She had completed her treatment, and when I saw her last week she was in remission. Even though she did not succumb to cancer, our hearts do no hurt less. Sending huge hugs and sympathy to her family who loved this sweet girl with all their hearts and I know that are hurting. Rest in Peace, Fallon. You are missed. #restinpeace #tripawds

Dr. Sue’s Vlog – Episode 44: In Memory of Sweet Maya
I am truly crushed and heartbroken for the recent loss of one of my favorite patients. 5 months since her diagnosis of lymphoma. So unfair. My heart also breaks for her dad, who is one of the nicest men I have met in my career as a cancer specialist. He loved sweet Maya so much. Maya had so many people rooting for her and caring for her. Thank you to the amazing team at The Veterinary Cancer Center for loving her the way you did! Maya felt the love.
I am forever grateful to Sidewalk Angels Foundation for funding her treatment and giving me all the support I needed to give her more happy and quality time with her family. She truly felt great through her treatment. And thank you to Mari and Rob Thomas for all you do with SWA to make pets lives better. And thanks to The Brodie Fund for also helping us.
